Fat N Sassy Mastering (Dericksen Studios)
Mastering your music is about creating a sound that surpasses the threshold of excellence! You worked hard creating your awesome work, mastering takes it to the next level. Using a talented mastering engineer will guarantee you quality sound.
FATnSASSYmastering is just the perfect studio for you to realize perfection within your hard work. I'll analyze what you want with careful experienced compressions, Eqs and noise reducing equipment which is "state of the art" to ensure you that BIG LABEL SOUND!!
Mastering is the final process from your song's creation before CD replication. It is here where the "ultimate" translation from imagination to sound becomes one. Mastering is the very crucial application to your sound for expression of it's true sonic spectrum known as, the "polished" ambience of your performance now finalized and ready to share with the world. Professional mastered music will sound great regardless if it's in your stereo, Jane's boom-box, Steve's car stereo, Danny's MP3/4 player and so on. It's about controlling your audio with the correct EQ's/NR's, compression along with sound leveling/balancing, front/back edits to industry spec. including in/out fades and Red Book song spacing (multiple songs) so that your music sounds great anywhere, anytime on anything.
After recording your performance and all your levels, EQs, bused-in effects, and all tracks are trimmed successfully and are merged into two; left and right (balanced stereo), the recording/mixing process is done. Mastering removes unwanted noise for which only a fresh set of ears can perform this properly. Both you and/or the Studio have heard your tracks over-and-over during the recording/mixing process and have become "sonically" numb to any subtle sound disturbances. Using a "third party unbiased" mastering engineer will help you maximize your sound to it's fullest. This is how you will achieve that BIG label sound.
