"Dark Over Here" is a dark brooding song that tells the story of a troubled youth, lost in the world around him. He struggles for answers but finds no one in his life that he can rely on. Desperate to figure out how the average "happy" person lives their life, he turns to his dreams. He dreams of the clouds, the stars, the wisp of the wind, the sun, and the moon - his only friends. In the night and across the sky, they travel to where normal people live, and ask them questions like "Could you explain being happy?", and return to the boy with the answers they have found. Mastered by Derickson Studios aka FatNSassy Mastering.

Lyrics
Well I know what you're doing now as you decide what else will go right
I wish I knew what makes it happen for you How does it feel to be a person like you So the moon draws me like no other as the clouds see I have no other For I have so many questions Somehow they'll find all my answers And so asks the sun, do you find love in your dealings And so asks the sky, could you explain being happy Then quotes the wisp, you're probably safe in your castle And by and by, do you find light in good feelings It's dark over here So they spy like I didn't ask them to As the stars don't know what else to do And when they're done they'll tell me of everything So I can dream of anything And so asks the sun, do you find love in your dealings And so asks the sky, could you explain being happy Then quotes the wisp, you're probably safe in your castle And by and by, do you find light in good feelings It's dark over here Dark Over Here Pictures |
